Hello, I’m Julie.
I’m an independent celebrant based in Hampshire, creating warm, thoughtful ceremonies for weddings, vow renewals, funerals, memorials and other important moments.
A little about me
Before becoming a celebrant, I travelled extensively through my work with British Airways. I experienced many different cultures and developed a genuine appreciation for the individuality of each person and the importance of meaningful moments.
Whether I was helping someone on their once-in-a-lifetime trip or assisting a business traveller on one of their regular journeys, I learnt how to adapt to each person and offer a service that felt right for them.
That experience has stayed with me and is something I now bring to every ceremony I create.

Home and family
I live in Hampshire with my husband, Nick. One of my happiest moments ever was walking down the aisle with him. I have two grown-up children who I adore, and I love watching them create their own lives and encouraging them to live them to the fullest. My other passion is my furry kids. Our dog Phoebe was rescued from the streets of Corfu when she was a puppy, and our cat Augustus is very much part of the family too.
We recently lost his brother Milo very suddenly, and that loss was huge for us. Milo was a very naughty cat with a huge character. As a family, we had a small ceremony to say goodbye to him, sharing our funny stories and favourite memories and simply saying thank you for everything he had brought into our lives. It helped us through our grief and is one of the reasons pet farewells are something I now feel so strongly about offering to other families.
I chose this path because I wanted to help people mark life’s most important moments in a way that feels personal. That might be creating a wedding or vow renewal that truly reflects a couple, or helping a family say goodbye through the memories and stories that keep someone close.
One of my proudest moments was writing the eulogy for my beloved, funny mum. I brought together the silly stories, meaningful memories and little details shared by the people who loved her. It showed me just how powerful those small moments can be when telling someone’s story.
